I have worked in accounting for more than 20 years, beginning my career in 1996 with a small car rental company in Juneau, Alaska. Since then, I have had the opportunity to work in many areas of accounting, giving me a broad range of experience and a practical understanding of the challenges faced by individuals and small business owners.
I earned my Bachelor's degree in Accounting in 2007. From 2010 through 2012, I was also a Certified Postsecondary Instructor at a local college, where I taught accounting courses.
Much of my professional experience was gained while working for a small, family-owned accounting firm in Anchorage from 2001 through 2017. During those years, my responsibilities included individual, corporate, and partnership tax preparation; bookkeeping and payroll; audit and agreed-upon procedures; forensic accounting projects; accounting assistance; and resolving QuickBooks and other accounting issues for clients.
That varied experience has given me an understanding of accounting that goes beyond simply preparing reports or tax returns. I enjoy helping clients understand their numbers, solve problems, and find practical solutions that work for their individual circumstances or businesses.
I am a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor with experience in both QuickBooks Online and Desktop and am a Registered Tax Return Preparer with the Internal Revenue Service.

Julie is our part-time Office Manager and has been an important part of our team for more than four years. She helps keep our office organized and running smoothly while providing friendly, attentive service to our clients.
Julie has a natural talent for customer service and organization and is often the friendly face—or voice—that greets our clients. Her outgoing personality and willingness to help make clients feel welcome and comfortable from the moment they contact our office.
Perhaps most importantly, Julie brings a wonderful sense of humor to the office. Her positive attitude and ability to find a little humor even on the busiest days help make the toughest projects go a little more smoothly.
Jeremiah is our in-house bookkeeper and provides bookkeeping and accounting support to both our clients and our firm. He has experience with day-to-day bookkeeping, account reconciliations, transaction review, financial record organization, and assisting with the resolution of discrepancies and accounting issues.
In addition to his bookkeeping skills, Jeremiah has a strong aptitude for technology and systems. He is highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and has become our resident expert in developing and programming our ClickUp system, helping us streamline workflows, organize client projects, and improve the efficiency of our internal processes.
His combination of accounting knowledge and technical ability makes him particularly skilled at working through detailed information, identifying inconsistencies, and finding more efficient ways to accomplish a task.
Jeremiah works closely with our clients and the rest of our team to help ensure their financial records are accurate, organized, and ready when needed.
